Modbus Digital Input Slave Device
The QE 8DI is a Modbus RTU RS485 Slave device with 8 Digital inputs. The input, Power Supply, and the RS485 Modbus RTU communication ports are galvanically isolated from each other at 1.5 kV. The QE 8DI is configurable by the USB port or the RS485 Communication port by Java software, downloadable from the www.qeedusa.com web site. The Baud rate can be selected by DIP Switch to enable connection if the settings have been lost.
It is possible to use the T-Bus DIN rail connection, which allows multiple devices to be connected with the same power supply and Modbus RTU RS485 connection.
